A family friend suggested Vedanta to me after I mentioned that I was interested in learning how to meditate. Vedanta has provided me with a practical approach to spiritual life. I was initiated by Swami Swahananda in Hollywood and I have been meditating and studying and praying since 1990.  I am 61 years old.
